Contessa-Nettel formed in 1919 as the result of a merger between German camera companies Contessa Camerawerke and Nettel Camerawork. In 1926 the company merged with additional camera manufacturers to form Zeiss Ikon.
This particular camera appears to be a Contess-Nettel Pasco No. 72 9x12cm plate film camera with double length bellows and roll film conversion back.
