As much as I tell myself I’m not going down the wormhole of collecting vintage digital cameras, the evidence is undeniable. Exhibit A, this Pentax Optio W90 circa 2010.
The ultra-macro (microscope) mode of this camera drew me to it, but I am finding a lot to love. The optics are excellent, it has a manual focus option, and the three LEDs around the lens are cool as heck.
Working my way through the 24 image type presets, I am impressed. It is water and shockproof, though I am not keen to test the latter.
