The Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super is a 35mm SLR produced from 1959 to 1962. This example has a Carl Zeiss Tessar 1:2,8 50mm lens. It has a coupled Selenium light meter and is recognizable by the combo aperture setting and ISO sensitivity wheel on the front.
The build quality on this camera is outstanding and the meter is still accurate 60 years later. It is comfortable in the hand and no mistaking the quality of Zeiss Ikon for anything else.

The Super was not a successor to the Rapid, it was a concurrent model that offered a built-in light meter, which the Rapid did not have.
Thank you! This was one of the earliest posts on my site and I was not nearly as knowledgable as I am now. I will revise the text in the next couple of days.
