Found Film: Vietnam Edition

My Futura Standard was an eBay acquisition. It had a roll of undeveloped film inside which, with the amazing fillm developing and scanning skills of Adam Paul, were brought back to life. They are from Vietnam sometime between 1955 and 1975. Through some internet sleuthing I have been able to identify some of the pictures.

This is the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City.

This statue, part of the Saigon War Memorial, was torn down in 1975.

This is a Grumman F8F Bearcat, bureau number 95255.

According to the Warbird Registry this aircraft was given to the Vietnamese Airforce and put on display at Tan Son Nhut Airbase in south Vietnam sometime before 1966.

As of 2010 the plane was still airworthy and owned/operated by an fighter airshow company in San Antonio, Texas.
